NSM Convocation: Celebrating Nearly 650 Graduates

31st Annual Earth & Atmospheric Sciences Student Research/Alumni and Industry Open House

Alumni and industry guests provided input to the 50 students presenting posters and 25 students selected for oral presentations. More than 200 people attended this year’s event. Scholarship Recipients – British American Foundation of Texas

Five NSM undergraduates were recognized at the British American Foundation of Texas’ Annual Scholarship Awards Ceremony. Dean’s External Advisory Board

External Advisory Board members serve as advisors and partners to advance the strategic initiatives of the College. At a recent meeting, the Board outlined plans to celebrate NSM’s 40th Anniversary. Panelists Offer Guidance at BioScience Graduate Society’s Career Workshop

A day-long career workshop organized by graduate students in the BioScience Graduate Society culminated with a ten-person panel addressing various career opportunities for persons with advanced biology and biochemistry degrees. Representatives covered topics including patents and inventions, jobs in industry, science writing and academia.
